Speaker: Dr. L. J. Tan, MS, PhD
Dr. Tan currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of the Immunization Action Coalition (IAC). Prior to joining the IAC, Dr. Tan was the director of medicine and public health at the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Tan co-founded and currently co-chairs the National Adult and Influenza Immunization Summit, as well as serves on numerous national and international expert and technical advisory committees and boards. Dr. Tan has received several awards for his advocacy work including the 2011 CDC National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases Honor Awards: Excellence in Partnering recognition, and was recently awarded the American Pharmacists Association’s national Friend of Pharmacy Award.
